A college girl with daddy issues, Jennifer Cathigan is an emotionally reserved girl whose chance encounter with a boy named Graham leads to a summertime romance. But as summer ends, and the two young lovers become separated by the distance of their college campuses, their relationship dies.
According to the fragmented memories of Stalker, which may or may not be factual, Jennifer began dating another man when she returned to school in the fall. Upon learning this, Stalker snapped, and embarked on a self-destructive journey to re-insert himself into Jennifer’s life.
On the surface, Jennifer is a typical girl, and one who Stalker refers to as “someone worth pining over.” However, Mr. Dark has dropped hints that indicate that Jennifer is not what she appears to be, and that her romance with Stalker wasn’t purely by chance. But is Mr. Dark telling the truth, or is he manipulating the facts to torment Stalker?
